Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
At Miller & Company Advocates, we believe that the practice of law carries a responsibility beyond the courtroom — a responsibility to serve society, advance justice, and empower communities. Since 1998, this commitment has been central to our identity, with Corporate Social Responsibility woven into every aspect of our work.
At the heart of our CSR efforts is the Miller Foundation (K), the firm’s dedicated platform for driving sustainable social change and supporting initiatives that improve the lives of Kenyans.
The Miller Foundation (K)
Founded under the leadership of Cecil Miller, our Chairperson, the Miller Foundation embodies the firm’s values in action. The Foundation channels our resources, expertise, and networks to causes where our impact can be most meaningful — from healthcare and education to legal access and community development.
Flagship Initiative
In 2014, the Miller Foundation contributed Sh 2 million to the First Lady of Kenya, Margaret Kenyatta, in support of her Beyond Zero healthcare campaign. This donation highlighted our commitment to improving maternal and child health nationwide, demonstrating that the reach of a law firm can extend far beyond legal services.
Other Focus Areas
Supporting pro bono legal services for vulnerable groups, ensuring that critical legal representation is available to those who need it most
Conducting workshops, seminars, and community forums to help individuals understand and exercise their rights.
Partnering with charitable organizations and programs that uplift disadvantaged communities, fostering long-term, systemic impact.
Why the Miller Foundation Matters
By focusing on projects where change is measurable and lasting, the Foundation ensures that our social contribution is meaningful and transformative.
Whether in healthcare, education, or legal access, the Foundation targets areas where public resources may fall short, giving a voice and support to underserved communities.
