HEARING will begin on June 26, in three-count charge preferred against Senator Adebayo Doherty, former managing director of the National Bank of Nigeria. Senator Doherty is charged with making, false entry, fraud and contravening the Federation of Nigeria Banking Act.

When the case came, up for the second day yesterday in a Lagos Chief Magistrate’s Court, a senior Court Counsel,’ Mr. C H. Miller, told: the court:’ “At the last, adjournment the defence, made application to enable them produce certain documents, Up to this moment I have not heard anything.”
